The session was conducted at the historic Casita Del Arroyo, a city-owned building utilized for meetings and special events. The Miller Guide was one component of a three-hour training module, facilitated by the city's Diversity Department. Although Pasadena had strict sexual and workplace harassment policies in place, their Human Resources department determined it was time to upgrade their present training program. After an extensive review process, the city selected The Miller Guide and required all employees to receive the training.
